The Big Promise

The whole Christian life is based on a promise. It is a big promise. This promise was made thousands of years ago to a man named Abraham. We are going to talk about it this Sunday. If you tend to only look at the New Testament, while shying away from the Old Testament because it seems barbaric or archaic, then you don't want to miss Sunday.One of the most remarkable things about the Bible is that it is all about Jesus, and what we see in our text in Genesis 12-20 is the formal beginning of God's plan to bless and heal his broken world.It all starts with a promise to a man named Abraham.
