A Letter from Partners Stanislaw and Faye Sylwestrowicz

Dear Joshua,

I contacted our mission (Novo) about updating our personal ministry profile on our webpage because it needs new information but it will be a very brief description of what we are doing. Our main presence in the web is however in Polish as a YouTube channel TeiStacja. Our mission's web page (to be updated) with our profile can be found here: https://etpoland.novo.org/ . Our main focus right now is twofold: To plant Presbyterian church in Gdansk and to fight rapid secularization of Poland which is conducted by intentional efforts of movement of New Atheists.

As for the first task, together with our son, Michal and his wife Kaja we started Presbyterian type church plant initiative. Since January with a small group of interested people we study Westminster Shorter Catechism and since soon we will be under care of International Presbyterian Church we decided to move our study of the Catechism to Friday home group and on Sundays we have prayer meetings with elements of worship service. We also started a home group for women and men. One family is in the process of moving from town near Gdansk to Gdansk in order to be involved in our church. God finally gave them a buyer for their house so they are at the end of paperwork for both transactions. Another family interested in our church is battling with cancer so we are helping them to go through this travail.

Being in the process of being taken under care of International Presbyterian Church means for me (Stasiek) and Michal future possibility of being ordained as ministers of the Word. Since I graduated from Covenant Theological Seminary with the MATS degree the process will be faster. Michal already started his online courses with Edinburgh Theological Seminary and will be ordained in due time.

As for the second item which is in focus of our ministry we continued to develop apologetic channel on YouTube - TeiStacja, where we publish lectures form our apologetic conferences, debates and produced by cooperation with pastor Michal Pronczuk programs defending Christian worldview sometimes debunking futile attacks on Bible and Chrsistianity using mainly presuppositional school of Cornellius Van Til. In November we have scheduled a debate with representatives of the Atheist Coalition on the topic: "What to choose? Atheism or Christianity?".

We also still have a foster baby with us (now 2 y.o. boy), Nikodem, who is a social orphan and this is our contribution to protection of children and anti-abortion movement in Poland.
