All of Life is Worship

Salvation in Jesus doesn't just give you forgiveness for your sins; it gives you a whole new way of looking at the world. I confess I find this fascinating and almost too good to be true. In fact, I think it is one of the most misunderstood aspects of Christianity. That makes me sad because, to understand - I mean really understand - that all of life is lived in worship to God is to experience a "weight of glory" itself. It is to know that your mundane acts of kindness and maybe even just thankfulness participate in the restoration that Jesus started.I am so adamant about this, that I have a blog  entitled "The Sacramental Cast," (I am about to start writing in it again; it has been dormant the last year and a half) and I just wrote some discipleship material called "God in the Stuff." When you see all of life as worship, it transforms the way you think about all the physical stuff around you, food, beauty, playing, working, and people. If it is all holy, what does that mean? If God really is mediating his presence and goodness in the stuff, how am I to respond?Hope you are interested, we'll talk about it this Sunday at St. Patrick!Blessings,Jim
