Mia’s Children is a ministry home that exists as a safe-haven for gypsy children in Bucharest, Romania. We provide educational support and funding; health care and daily support of physical needs; on-going mental and emotional care; and spiritual encouragement and teaching for approximately 50 children. We are advocates for the poor and helpless who currently have no voice of their own. Check out the website here.
Chris and Debbie Gibson are currently in their eleventh year of caring for missionaries, living on the field in Budapest, Hungary. The reality of missionary life often means dealing with hardship, pain and persecution. The Budapest Garden House Counseling Center is a place of refuge, retreat and revitalization. It is strategically located in a close but purposefully non-Muslim city, allowing those needing care who serve in the Muslim world to get away from stress-producing environments and circumstances to receive the help they need.
Chris is an ordained Presbyterian minister with over 25 years experience in pastoral ministry. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor with special training in individual, marriage and family counseling as well as trained in Critical Incident Debriefing and Crisis Intervention. In addition to counseling and consulting, the Gibsons teach seminars in areas of need, such as Beating Burnout, Stress Management, and Keeping Marriages Strong on the Field. Christ has a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary and a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. He trained in counseling and family ministry at Focus on the Family under Dr. James Dobson. He and Debbie helped found a Classical Christian School, and Chris served as Chairman of its board. He is a doctoral candidate currently completing his dissertation on the Causes and Prevention of Missionary Attrition. Debbie, as a former senior pastor’s wife, elementary school teacher, mother of four daughters and now a missionary, knows well the ups and downs of ministry life. She brings a woman’s perspective to the work they do, counseling alongside Chris. Debbie’s ministry also includes intercessory prayer, women’s ministries, and hospitality–welcoming those in need into her home for weeks at a time.
The Gibsons need your prayer and support to keep caring for missionaries and their families!

Palmer Home is a Christian organization that seeks to play a part in the global symphony of efforts to embody the peace, justice, and hope of God. We hope to be the hands and feet of God’s compassion, doing justice for those whom God loves and who cannot help themselves. We long for healing and restoration and provide each child with a family, a home, and a community. We seek to soften those hearts that have been hardened by grief, and to create in them a place “Where Hope Still Grows.” Check out their website here.
