Children’s Ministries

The Children’s Ministry of St. Patrick Presbyterian Church seeks to embody the loving embrace of Christ to our children as we celebrate Christ and His unconditional love. We desire to see Christ in the face of every child and we will use our resources to serve the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of those children in our church, in our neighborhoods, in our town and beyond. We will do this out of an overflowing love for God so that all will know the satisfaction of being a follower of Christ.

Sunday School

Sunday School

During the school year, weekly from 9:15-10:15 am

Our Sunday School classes at St. Patrick desire to create a community of children who know, love, and serve God and each other. We know that Jesus is the hero of every story and strive to teach that so that all of the Bible can be understood as part of the one story of Godʼs restoration and redemption of this fallen world through Jesus Christ. The preschool and toddler class will use chronological Bible stories to lay the foundation of Biblical truth. The curriculum for children ages K-5th Grade is from Children Desiring God.

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade will study He Has Been Clearly Seen.

Creation proclaims a message about God. From the smallest snowflake to the largest star, all creation gives powerful testimony to the greatness and worth of the one, true, eternal Creator. With special attention given to the Genesis account, the goal of this study is that children view creation as a wonderful gift from a good and loving Creator who wants them to see, understand, and delight in His glory.

3rd – 5th Grade will use the study To Be Like Jesus.

“What is salvation? How does someone become a Christian? What does it mean to become like Jesus? This curriculum helps answer these important questions by explaining elements of the Gospel message, its purpose, and promise. A major portion of this study focuses on the doctrine of sanctification – the process by which a Christian becomes more and more conformed to the likeness of Jesus.”

SonShine Wednesday Night Ministry

During the school year, weekly from 6:00 – 7:30pm, ages 4 years through 5th grade

Wednesday nights are a lot of fun at St. Patrick! Bible lessons, games and activities, worship music, and mission projects are all a part of SonShine! Children meet in groups of 4 to 6 with a small group leader to dig deeper into Biblical truth and develop Christ-centered relationships. We end each semester with a closing program. Dinner is even served!
