Our Sr. High has been going to Shepherd of the Ozarks (SOTO) on Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend for over ten years, and it is one of our most beloved trips! SOTO is in northwest Arkansas, about four and a half hours away. Each year we bring a main speaker, along with our Youth Staff, to help lead the trip and facilitate our lessons and small group time. We will all meet at the church Friday night, January 12, at 4:30 to pack and leave and will arrive late that night, after stopping for dinner in Bald Knob, AR at The Bulldog Cafe. Saturday and Sunday will consist of a lesson and small group time in the morning and the evening, and the afternoons will be reserved for extra activities, such as horseback riding, a high ropes course, archery, wilderness paintball, a cliff swing, and the goat cave hike. The rest of our time is free time for games, sports, fun, and fellowship in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We will pack and leave after a late breakfast on Monday, January 15, and be home around 3:00-4:00 that afternoon. The total cost of the trip is $250.
